New life yet the same as always
grows over the ruins of a love that built castles from the sands of time.
The peace in the silence after a long tiresome war
the eerie melancholic nostalgia as we remember what we fought for
what we died for
Remembering the storm as the seas raged against the walls of our sanctum
Remembering the warmth as we held each other through the nights
Remembering the dreams
The visions we shared as we reimagined the outside
Remember the clouds cast above our heads that dissipated
as oceans fell down to wash us all away
New life grows
A hazy green washes over the heavy stones...
And there's no one home... and the wind whistles with faint melodies
