Experimental performance film, tracing the cycles of conscious and subconscious self-creation of the artist as archetype, alternating between the inward focus of inception and the outward push of manifestation. Exploring and observing the fragmentation of the self, in oder to create cohesion. With the egg as symbol for the Self (simultaneously an artists life’s work), the piece is defined by the effect these processes have on it: nurture and conflict, transformation, symbolic death, and rebirth. Throughout, the artist engages with specific routes and places in the city of London, externalising her own symbolic ritual in an open dialogue with the environment and those who chose to interact with the process.
